About Me

I’m Dr. Whitney Willcott-Benoit, a registered clinical psychologist with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan. My clinical training has spanned a wide range of settings—including an operational stress injury clinic, a university-based training clinic, a tertiary care hospital, and private practice—providing me with a strong foundation in evidence-based, client-centered care.

I work with adults (19+) seeking support for a variety of concerns, including anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma and stressor-related disorders, mood disorders, sleep difficulties, eating disorders, and challenges with self-esteem and body image. As a generalist, I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs while drawing from evidenced-based therapeutic approaches (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).

Clients who work best with me are typically ready to take an active role in therapy—willing to face fears, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build skills for lasting change.

I am committed to creating a welcoming, respectful space for all individuals and proudly work with clients from diverse cultural, racial, and 2SLGBTQIA+ backgrounds. Above all, I aim to offer therapy that is compassionate, effective, and tailored to you.
